The more time we spend in nature, breathe well and take time to ‘pause’, we begin to recognise the benefits of being still, aware and present. Join us for a weekend of discovery and adventure, exploring your wild and natural flow... and living from the heart. Re-connect with your true self through Yoga, Breathwork, Foraging and some Cold Water therapy (if you wish!) Go 'wild and free' in nature with Foraging and enjoy the 'simple things' in life we've forgotten, like 'mindful eating, night walks under the stars in the beautiful wild North Devon countryside. We've teamed up with Hands On Life to create a weekend for you to reboot, escape and unwind.
Your Yoga, Mindfulness and Foraging escape will be spent in the luxury of the unspoilt North Devon countryside, staying at The Old Rectory. A beautiful 19th century Country House surrounded by lush greenery, in the heart of nature, with stunning views and walks (on your doorstep). Set in 5 acres of landscaped gardens and 14 acres of river meadows, nestled between Exmoor and Dartmoor. The Old Rectory offers 12 stylish luxury bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms (private and shared options available). An elegant dinning area and relaxing sitting room with a lovely open fire.
This 3 nights escape will be a mindfulness journey with like minded people, to explore your wild and free nature, with a mix of activities, from relaxing to adventurous and as much or as little as you want to do!
You will head out into nature by day and night, explore night walking and star gazing in the magical deepest, darkest Devon, where the stars shine bright in the unpolluted Devon night sky.
Spend your free time as you choose, relax in the sitting room with a good book, go for an invigorating dip in the outdoor pool (exploring the benefits of cold water therapy!). Take a walk in nature and explore one of the many beautiful walks in the surrounding area or garden. The grounds offer endless places to explore for your own meditation, mindful walks or just a simple stroll.
This beautiful location offers a nurturing and comfortable environment, to unwind and 'switch off'. The house is full of beautiful art, with an amazing selection of books to read by the fire or the luxury of your room.

"The Old Rectory is a special place for a relaxing holiday with a homely & luxurious feel with all the facilities you need to escape, let go & just 'be'..."
Re-connect with yourself in a nurturing and loving environment.
You'll leave feeling inspired with tools to take away into to incorporate into your daily routine and bring more mindfulness in to your daily life.
“What I love about The Old Rectory is that it can house a lot of different energies all at the same time. For the energetic there is a small gym, gorgeous walks and tennis courts, a salt water swimming pool for the brave) and an infra-red sauna for sore muscles. For those that simply like to relax between sessions, there are plenty of quiet, inspiring spaces, amazing books and stunning gardens to meander in. Which means that besides the delicious meals and workshops, people can set the tone for their retreat.”
