Service Description

The dream combo... starting with a deep and slow stretch to unwind and discharge any energy (or emotions) from the day, or week with some Yin poses, moving deeper into relaxation with calming Restorative Yoga... then into 'pure bliss' with Yoga Nidra. This 1hr 45mins session is ideal for calming the nervous system and Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) alone is the equivalent of a good 2-3hrs sleep, so combined with Yin and Restorative Yoga, this truly is the dream combination of practices to leave you feeling completely relaxed and restored. Whether you are new to yoga or just curious, or a practiced yogi and familiar with these practices, this session is open to all levels, but due to the nature of these practices the group will be small and *LIMITED8 spaces... so book your spot! In this session I will guide and teach you about each practice as we move into the poses, so you'll get to learn about the benefits of yin yoga, its connection to traditional Chinese Medicine and what the Meridians are. As well as learn to really 'let go' in the Restorative yoga section and feel the healing and nurturing effects of this practice as we go deeper into the body and nervous system. Then finish with blissful Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation and yogic sleep (where we find that place 'in-between' sleep and awake ;0) that will leave you feeling like you've had the best nights sleep...or you went "somewhere'', but can't remember where! So whether you want to deepen your practice and understanding of these styles of yoga, come for a relaxing evening, or curious and completely 'new' to yoga, this session is great for experienced yogis and complete beginners, because we have the luxury of 1hr and 45minutes and we will take time moving through each pose and different styles. You'll leave with a better understanding of these practices and maybe yourself! Cancellation Policy

Workshops and courses are non refundable and payment required in full. If in the case you cannot attend, please contact Amanda in email to confirm you will not be attending. Late bookings may be accepted up to 3hrs before, then booking system will be closed, allowing teacher to plan and set up for the session and numbers booked on. Due to some seasons requiring equipment and multiple actives and sometime refreshments (this will be highlighted if part of event) - limits on number of participant and potentially dietary requirements may need to be planned in advance.
