Hit the waves, soak in the sun's rays, positive vibes and let the waves wash away all your worries.Unwind with a drink, let the sun go down and fall asleep with a full heart.
Your Costa Rica surf and yoga stay will be spent nestled up in the palm trees, lodging in wooden tree-house style cabanas in the grounds of Don Jons Surf Hostel. The cabanas are surrounded by lush jungle and friendly Howler monkeys. Just a short walk through the palm trees is Santa Teresa beach.
There will be a maximum of 3 per cabana, all of which are en-suite featuring a balcony, orthopedic mattresses, refrigerators in the rooms and daily cleaning service.
Spend your daily free time as you choose, relax in the tree top hammocks with a good book, walk down to the beach to top up your tan, explore the surrounding areas, enjoy a few cerveza's and music in the BBQ area.
Costa Rica is a tiny country but it's packed with ecological biodiversty, in fact it accounts for 6% of the entire earths biodivesrty, so be sure to spend some time exploring the amazing Cabo Blanco Nature reserve a short drive away.
Other must do activities include our quad bike adventure days and horse riding along the beautiful Playa Carmen and Santa Teresa beaches at sunset.
The Destination
Surf & Yoga
You will be taught by our expert Wild & Free yoga teacher Philly Lewis. Every morning meditation will be offered to guests, followed by an hour's Vinyasa flow class to get you energized for your day ahead. If your a total beginner yogi then don't worry, Philly will guide you through the basics allowing you to access as many poses as possible whilst working with your own body. By the end of the trip you'll be flowing through your practice with ease.
Every evening, you'll be able to join Philly for a restorative yoga session to help heal the body and leave you in a blissful state ready for the next day in paradise, preparing you for your next surf and yoga day.
After your morning yoga session, our professional surfer Alan Stokes will then take you to the beach to hit the waves! It doesn't matter if your a total ripper or just a beginner starting out, Alan's enthusiasm and experience will guarantee you a surf full of waves, fun and laughter. The Costa Rican coastline is full of waves for all surfer's.
Best surf trip I've ever been on. I have achieved what I wanted to by gaining more confidence with my turns in the surf. Alan's coaching was really clear and easy to follow as well as fun. Also enjoyed learning new yoga techniques from Philly that will definitely help me in the future. Best of all was having fun everyday!
