The world moves at a pace that is hard to keep up with and everything these days feel like a 'juggling act'. If you are feeling like there just isn't enough hours in the day and constantly tired, no matter how much sleep you're getting, then this relaxing Day Retreat could be the perfect opportunity to take a moment to "pause". Learn some useful tools and techniques to take away and use in everyday life. Whether you are just looking for relaxing day with yoga or wanting to learn techniques to self manage fatigue, stress, exhuastion, burn out or even improve your sleep. The focus for this day retreat will be 'REST'. Amanda will share mindfulness techniques and restorative yoga practices, like Yin, Restorative, Somatics and Nidra to restore balance. We will dive deep into the Power of the Breath and Silence (you will be requested to arrive in 'silence') We'll start with a 1.5hr Yin session to set the scene to experience the power of a morning Yin practice. As the day unfolds, moving into different practices and techniques to learn ways to regulate our energy, nervous systems and emotions. The day is about exploring simple techniques to take care of ourselves every day. This retreat will be held at the tranquil and charming 'Lost Manor' in Devon (formally 'The Old Rectory'). A perfect place to escape the busyness of life! WHATS INCLUDED: - Various Yoga practices with Amanda (Yin, Restorative Somatics, Nidra) - Various Workshops (Breathwork and Mindfulness Techniques) - Tea, coffee and refreshments throughout - Winter warmer Lunch - Use of the Gardens and grounds to take a mindful stroll - All Yoga equipment provided (welcome to bring your own if you prefer) - Parking onsite (pls advise in advance for parking) USEFUL INFO / WHAT TO BRING: - Yoga will be for ALL levels - Comfortable clothing for yoga and layers for relaxation (and slower yoga practices) - Big cosy blanket, eye pillow (if you have one) - A journal/notepad & pen - Water Bottle - Approx' 6.5hrs to start at 10am (arrival from 9.30am to settle in) and finish around 4.30pm - Anyone with allergies or dietary requirements please get in touch (we cater for most dietary requirements and any questions - please email/call us) * £5 discount for locals and regular students (or if you book *BY WED 19th Feb*) * 10% discount for 'Yoga Warrior Members' (yoga memebership)* * More information: Directions, address, schedule will be sent along with health form via email upon booking*


















Cancellation Policy
Half Day Retreats are paid in full (unless agreed otherwise in advance with Amanda in writing) and are non refundable. Once you have booked you will need to complete a health form and inform Amanda of any dietary requirements and health conditions. If food and meals are part of the retreat, you will be asked about your dietary requirements which will be catered for where possible but you are still responsible for ensuring that you take full responsibility for any allergies, intolerances as well as practice safely with your yoga practice and listen to your body.
