Yoga & Wellbeing

Amanda completed her Teacher Training in the heart of the jungle in the mountains of stunning

Sri Lanka... surrounded by nature and wildlife, which has inspired her to take yoga outside whenever possible. Whether that's to the beach (on our retreats), or any outside  space... breathing in the fresh air and relaxing to sounds  of  nature  (or the ocean),  practicing  yoga 

outside really enhances your yoga practice and calms the mind.

 

Whether it is outdoors or inside, Amanda creates a safe, welcoming and calm environment for you to practice your yoga in. 

Amanda runs weekly Hatha and Vinyasa Flow classes online and in Chulmleigh, North Devon, and invites everyone to come along and try her classes, all equipment provided, so you just need to turn up (and first class is free!).

 

Each session will include breath work to relax you into the space, calming the mind to get the most out of your practice. Focusing on linking breath to movement, connecting the mind, body and soul, to leave you calm, energised and ready for whatever lies ahead. 

 

Amanda is 200hr qualified  and  registered  with  Yoga Alliance. She is trained in Hatha and Vinyasa flow, as well as Restorative and Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. So offers  a variety of sessions throughout the month. Amanda love to bring an element of all practices into her classes, creating unites classes with something new to learn and explore with each session. The more restorative sessions are a great way to heal the body and leave you feeling blissful.

 

If you're a total beginner yogi then, Amanda will guide you through the basics at your pace and you can ask as many questions as you like! 

Monthly Specials & Workshops 

Look out for monthly specials, like Yin & Restore, Breathing & Mindfulness.  As well as mini online retreats, workshops and collaborations with guest teachers. These sessions will be advertised monthly...so keep an eye out on the website or in the members area on your ap.

Amanda also offers Private 1 to 1 sessions (available also for couples and friends/small groups), which are a great way to develop and get the most out of your yoga practice.  With 1 on 1 coaching Amanda is able to cater for 'your' needs and build a practice suited to you. Whether you are new to yoga or practice regularly, this is a great way to build confidence and strength and explore the areas you enjoy.

 

Partner yoga is also a fun and enjoyable practice and a great way to take time out with your partner 'together', introduce someone 

to yoga and a great bonding experience.

Please note - During Retreat season Amanda's classes will either move to a different date, or go ahead with a lovely local cover teacher
