What Yoga Taught me!

The thing that drew me to Yoga initially was it is for EVERYBODY!


I didn’t get into yoga for the handstands... it was for my health & wellbeing!


Being a perfectionist & giving my all to pretty much everything I apply myself too… ended up being to the detriment of my health!


There wasn’t anything that wouldn’t stop me giving 110% to my work… unless my body stopped me! Literally.


Yoga reminded me, there was more to life than work!


I bet the reason you can’t make it to class, or find time to work on YOU, is because of work!


But is it worth your health?


That was a question I answered about 4 years ago…



Yes we need work/money to survive (unfortunately that’s how this world works!) BUT how much money do you need if you have no time to spend it. Do you really NEED (not ‘want!’ …need) that fancy car, big house, expensive clothes??


Ask yourself, does it actually make you happy? Or do you still find yourself wanting more…?


Yoga taught me to open my eyes & appreciate what I have. To realise I have, what I need… to take care of my actual home, my body! My home my entire life.


Instead of reminding myself of the pain in my body when I stepped on the mat, I chose to listen to what yoga was teaching me (be in my body follow my heart)



Now I’m happier, healthier & less pain in my body and life.


Your body has a lot to teach you! How to breathe, listen, see & if you connect to this amazing body of yours, you’ll be amazing how much it has to say


There is no age, or is it too late to start your yoga journey! Ages range from 18 to 80+ in my classes & on my retreats (some having never done yoga before!)
