Breathing & Relaxation (in person)

Service Description

This 'in person' Breathing & Relaxation Class is 30mins and designed to explore the 'science' behind the breath, through various breathing exercises, discussion and some gentle movement. As part of this session we will explore the 'why' behind 'breathing well' and 'how' important it is for our overall health and wellbeing. While we often use breathing techniques in our yoga practices, this class is designed to focus on the breath in more detail and explore the 'science' behind the breath. We will practice different breathing techniques 'together' in a safe and relaxed way. I will guide you through each session, so you get to explore different techniques to find the ones that suit you, as well as work progressively through different exercises. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions, so you feel comfortable to practice these in your own time and explore some relaxation techniques to help support you in every day life. These classes are both educational and informative, as well as relaxing. The more we understand about the breath and use these exercises and techniques in our every day life, you'll start to feel and understand the benefits of breathing well. These sessions are great for things like stress relief, gaining more energy, focus, as well as relaxation and can support conditions such as asthma and sleep disorders (and many more) No experience needed but please make Amanda aware of any or health conditions by completing the 'new student health form' (if you haven't already), before these sessions, so Amanda can offer any variations if necessary. PLEASE NOTE: This 30mins session follows on from a 'Chair Yoga Class' before, so please arrive no earlier, which you are welcome to join, but please book ahead, or just join for the breath work. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 2 hours before your class starts and reschedule within your plan or package policy rules. * Single class bookings can be rescheduled to another day * Weekly or Monthly or Packs or Packages can be rescheduled, but ONLY within the period of time the package is valid for. For example if your package is 1 month/4 sessions and there are only 4 sessions available within this month, it will not be able to be carried over outside of this month/period (as per policy when booking). So not forget to re book before your plan expiry date. For Private 1 to 1 sessions different cancelation & rescheduling policies apply, please get in touch. If you wish to cancel your Yoga Warrior subscription you can do this from your account yourself or you can contact us in writing via email and we will deactivate the card payment.
