Service Description
A mixed level class for all levels, for those that want to build strength and their own practice (also great to support upper body strength for Yoga i.e. Vinyasas) This bitesize session starts at 6.30pm (20-25mins) prior to a 7pm 'Tuesday Yoga Flow' Class, and is for those wanting to learn how to use resistance bands and want to add some simple basic 'resistance training' into their daily routine to build strength. This series is designed to give you a 'guide' of how to work with resistant bands and resistance/strength based exercises safely - using good posture and providing an understanding of how to engage muscles correctly. You'll be given exercises to 'take away' to build a regular home practice. The focus for these series of 3 'one off' sessions will vary, but usually the focus is the upper body. The sessions will involve energising 'warm ups' tips (important for any strength training, so a 'good habit' to build!), plus easy to follow exercises with resistance bands, as well as some floor based resistance training too. It is fun, energising and informative! I am offering this series in 3 'bite size' sessions to make them accessible, with an aim to build your own home practice. I will give you 3-6 exercises to take away and practice in between sessions and if you do all 3 sessions and home exercises, you are more likely to continue and build your own practice (with confidence and practice on your own). PACKAGES & SAVINGS! If joining just 1 or 2 Resistance sessions then the cost is £6 per individual session. If joining ALL 3 x Resistance sessions on 17th, 24th & 31st March you'll save £3 with £15 'Resistance Series Package' (making it £5 per session) If JOINING ALL 3 of BOTH classes on 17th, 24th & 31st March i.e. 6.30pm 'Resistance' sessions AS WELL AS the 7pm 'Tuesday Yoga Flow' class, then you save MORE on the Resistance sessions with 'Resistance Series (with Flow) Pkge' @ £4.33 per sessions (instead of £6)! - SEE 'RESISTANCE PACKAGES' UNDER YOGA PACKAGES online. Equipment can be provided (**if advised in advance**, as limited equipment available!).
